Skeddly supports many schedule types.

Daily

When selecting a daily schedule, your action will execute once a day.

For example, your action will execute at 3:30am every day.

You can choose the days of the week on which the action will execute. You can select any combination of days.

Here are some examples:

  • 7 days a week - Every day

  • Monday through Friday - Business days only

  • Saturday and Sunday - Weekends only

  • Monday, Thursday, and Saturday

Weekly

When selecting a weekly schedule, your action will execute the same day of the week, every week.

For example, your action will execute at 3:30am every Saturday morning.

Monthly

When selecting a monthly schedule, your action will execute once a month.

For example, your action will execute on the first day of every month.

You can choose the months of the year in which the action will execute. You can select any combination of months.

 Here are some examples:

  • Every month

  • January through June - First half of the year

  • January, March, May, July, September, November - Alternating months

  • March, June, September, December - End of each quarter

The day of the month on which the action executes can be selected:

  • Specific day of the month - The action will execute the same day of the month, every month. For example, April 3rd, May 3rd, June 3rd, etc.

  • Last day of the month - The action will execute on the last day of each month. For example, June 30th, July 31st, August 31st, etc.

  • Selected week of the month and day of the week - The action will execute on an indicated week and day each month. For example, the first Saturday of the month.

Note

On months of the year that have fewer days than are required to contain the selected day, then the action will execute on the last day of the month.

For example, if the action is scheduled to execute on the 31st day of every month, then in April, the action will execute at the scheduled time on April 30th.

Hourly

When selecting a monthly schedule, your action will execute once every hour.

For example, your action will execute 15 minutes past the top of every houur (01:15, 02:15, 03:15, etc.)

None

When selecting a "None" schedule, your action will execute (by schedule) at most once. It will execute at the selected time, and will not execute by schedule again.

When saving your action, if the scheduled time is in the past, then the action will not be scheduled to execute.
