Action Exclusions can be used to temporarily prevent EC2 instances from being started and/or stopped.

To create an Action Exclusions:

  1. Sign-in to your Skeddly account.

  2. Click "Actions" then "Exclusions" in the left navigation panel.

  3. Click the "Create Action Exclusion" button.

  4. Complete the form with the details of the resources and the processes that are to be prevented.

Once created, until the exclusion expires (if an expiry date is configured) or is deleted, the selected processes will not apply to the selected resources.
