Action Exclusions are a way to prevent Skeddly actions from performing certain operations on specific resources.

For example, by creating an Action Exclusion, you can prevent Skeddly from stopping an EC2 instance for the next 12 hours.

Resources can be matched for exclusion by:

  • Matching the resource ID (such as EC2 instance ID),

  • Matching a resource tag

Action Exclusions work against standard actions as well as Managed Instances.
